As the Vice President- South Asia & Middle East, Sanjay’s key responsibilities include helping customers address today’s consumer and employee expectations by delivering effortless, consistent, and personalized digital-first experiences and enhance their customer experience by unleashing the power of data. His key focus areas are to drive NICE’s market strategies, go-to-market investments, and customer satisfaction for NICE’s market-leading cloud CX Platforms while leading channel partner and alliance engagements across the region.
Spanning over 28 years, Sanjay Gupta’s career is comprised of leadership positions at companies such as Aspect
Software, Dimension Data, and Avaya. In his last assignment, he was the Head Cloud Business- APAC & ME and Managing Director- India & ME where he successfully led high performance teams and established cloud services across APAC.
Sanjay was also Country Sales Director at Dimension Data where he successfully led their go-to-market strategy in India across all verticals and solutions. Prior to this Sanjay was Country Head of Enterprise Sales at Avaya India, where he played a crucial role in scaling the company’s business in the enterprise segment. During a seventeen- year long stint at Avaya, he played a pivotal role in ensuring a sustained growth momentum for their enterprise vertical. He also held positions like Chief Operating Officer and other positions in the leadership council at Avaya India. He has also worked in various capacities within Tata Telecom leading direct and indirect sales teams.
Sanjay holds a master’s in business administration and marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute, Mumbai one of the premier business schools in India. He also holds a B.E. Degree in Electronics and Communications from Mysore University.
His special area of interest includes Go to market strategy, customer relationships and Cloud technologies.
