Nadiah comes with more than 30 years of HR expertise, with focus on Organizational Development and Change Management. Her experiences span across both local and Fortune 500 multinationals in various industries with local/regional and HQ roles, winning regional and global awards for her contributions. This has given her both breadth and depth of understanding for the business, and ability to connect business results through creative People strategies.
A graduate of BA International Relations from the UK, she has the advantage of looking at HR from a global and holistic perspectives. She has been actively involved in creating positive and sustainable development. Her expertise lies in driving Change initiatives focusing on developing the optimum organizational structure, attracting the best talent, integrating business needs into the People Strategies.
Her passion has always been in the work around Women and Leadership and has played lead roles within diversity advocate initiatives with NGOs, government agencies and women empowerment associations. She was a Lead for the HR workstream for the 30% Club in Malaysia at the national level. An elected Council Member for the Malaysian Employers Federation for 2018-2024. A strong believer in Coaching and Mentoring as she is often invited to be involved in mentoring programs such as with Lean In and was called upon to be a Coach with the Global Institute for Leadership Development (GILD) Program for the Singapore Cohort in 2018. She is a certified Coach and an NLP Practitioner. She is appointed as President for the Malaysian Chapter – ASEAN Human Development Organization (AHDO) and Regional Chair for AHDO for the period – 2023-2024.
Her contribution has been highly accorded with recognition through a number of Awards; Women Leadership Achievement Award at the 2nd World Women Leadership Congress Award 2015 in Mumbai; she received the Top 50 HR Leaders Award (Malaysia) by World HRD Congress in April 2017; in August 2017, she was awarded the prestigious Asia HRD Award for her contribution to development in the HR Community; Nadiah was also honoured with the award of The Top 100 Global HR Leaders Award at the World HRD Congress 2018 in Mumbai; on 15th August 2019, she was awarded the HR Leader with CSR Initiatives at the Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards in Singapore. In September 2020, she was awarded HR Best Leader of the year by HRM Asia. Most recently in July 2022, she was conferred the 2022 Outstanding Women Chief Human Resources Officer (Leadership Excellence Award) at the World Women Economic & Business Forum by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific. Most recently , being called out in the Top 100 HR icons in South East Asia, to watch for 2023 and 2024. She is a much sought after keynote Speaker as she brings along practical HR experience to share from her past and present work experiences and more importantly her Thought Leadership for the Future of Work.
Her current role in MAHB goes beyond growing the organisation but to passionately serve the national interest of driving a customer centric culture in delivering the best passenger experience for a national gateway to Malaysia. Someone who believes in Agility and Rediscovering oneself, always about rejuvenating her skills set and being the best.
